Content, Content! We got yer content!
Can you believe it? We’re halfway through the month of September! Time to switch the summer wardrobe for the fall wardrobe, get out the boots and start thinking about winter coats. We begin easing into fall with this weekly update of our TGForum content. Pushing forward, into the future.
First we look at the past — the past week that is — with a little feature we call The Week In Transgenderism. What were the big happenings in the TG world? We’ve assembled all the stories with TG news so all you have to do is click and read. There’s more on the Chaz Bono controversy as some unlikely people leap to defend gender dysphoria and beat up on Keith Ablow. A famous actress thinks she looks like a transvestite. People are sentenced for their crimes against TGs. Victories for TGs in Thailand and Chicago. All that and a lot more is waiting for you in TWIT.
Dallas Denny joins us today with her continued commentary on WPATH and The Standards of Care. Dallas has mixed feelings about The Standards of Care and she explains them in her post. Briefly put The Standards are deficient for transmen, they are also not very useful for low income transgender people. Find out what Dallas thinks of the pros and the cons by reading WPATH and The Standards of Care.
Linda Jensen is with us today and she has brought her memories of a club in Montreal where she used to hang out in the ’90s. The club has had to fight city hall to stay open and after being successful at that it now must deal with a declining number of attendees. Read all about Cleopatra’s in Linda’s article You Can Fight City Hall! It’s Not So Easy To Fight Changing Times.
We have some news items today, as well. The Empire Conference has issued a call for presenters and The Social Security Administration has stopped outing TGs to their employers. Don’t miss a bit of today’s new content!

How about an article on Andrej Pejic the male model who models women’s fashion?
Hi Janet,
If you check through the last few TWIT posts you’ll find a link to a site where they interview Andrej and he talks about all kinds of stuff. If we can get access to Andrej someday we will do our own interview.
