Several weeks ago David de Alba was kind enough to share some links to videos of the famous Coccinelle and we posted one of them on TGF. Now we bring you another of her vintage performances taken from a film appearance. This clip is from the film Europa di notte, an Italian film whose title translates in English as European Nights. The film was directed by Alessandro Blasetti  and one of the writers was Ennio Concini, the man who wrote Divorce – Italian Style for which he received the Academy Award in 1962.

Europa di notte is reputed to be a documentary of many of the hottest nightclub acts in Europe at that time. Coccinelle performs two numbers with a group of male dancers. The audio is slightly out of sync with the video but don’t let that spoil your appreciation of this classic performance.
