Astra and I were in the chat room today and had two (count ’em, 2) chatters. We had a nice time but we’d like more interactions.
So, what day and what hour works best for you all? We’ll come to a compromise based on the responses.

I am a writer, editor and educator. I was one of the 5 founders of the Renaissance Transgender Education Assoc., and have served on the boards of IFGE and AEGIS. Well it’s going to be difficult to reach a consensus but I want to wait a little bit more to see if we get any more comments. I am leaning toward a weekend night but I am still open for more suggestions.

I love TG forum, and have been a member for some time, but I do admit that everytime I visit the chatroom there is no one there. This has happened the last 10-12 visits. I have begun to think that my computer is the problem, but now note that others experience the same problem. it is a nice feature, but to be fair, you cannot make people use it. I live on the west coast so maybe my hours are off for a majority of members. Anyway, I hope that the activity picks up. My best times are evenings for weekdays, and anytmie on the weekend after 10:00 AM PST.

I think one reason for little response is that as far as I can tell, one can’t insert pics in the chat or have a pic as an avatar like on TG Chat or the old MEOW.

I have tried to log into chat twice and all I get is a blank screen… I log in when I come to the site – am I doing something wrong???
I have never chatted before and would like to try it out. Late morning PST would work best for me
What is the customary length of your keeping the chat room open? I would enjoy participating. I intended to sign on this week but looked up to see that the time had passed. Ronnie has a good point about working/commuting times. Maybe opening it in the evening if that wouldn’t create a hardship on you. I sign in and check TGForum each and every day, sometimes more than once.

Part of the problem could be the season: it’s getting warmer, and I know I’m spending less time online and more time outdoors.
