Calling All Writers and Reporters

TGForum has been on the Web for a long while and in that time we have been blessed with a variety of creative content producers. People like Pamela DeGroff and Hebe Dotson have typed their manicures to the bone to give us great articles, and in Hebe’s case, solid TG fiction. Contributions from them and all the other writers we have featured over the years have made TGF the place where you can find solid information and entertainment for TGs.

But we can’t rest on our laurels. While we continue to feature our best and brightest we’re always on the lookout for new talent to add to our staff. If you have an urge to write, give in to the urge and send me an email letting me know what you’d like to write about.

As a brief guide I can tell you that we can always use club night and event reports. Where do you go for fun in your town? Next time you go out take a camera, get some photos of the place and yourself and write up a short review. Going to a major TG event for a fun weekend? Take some photos and write about all the fun.

Is shopping your thing? Write about the art of bargain shopping. What’s the best way to stalk the elusive bargain in its native habitat? Where do you find the best deals on femme attire? Want to review a product? Just do it!

Are you more of a how-to girl? If you want to write it — or if you want to make videos demonstrating makeup techniques, hair/wig styling, or how to sew a dress; if you have a skill that will help our readers feel free to share it.

Do you like to go to the movies? How about writing reviews of films with TG content or ones that feature actors in drag? No matter if they are new releases or just out on DVD, film reviews are always useful.

We tell you about television programs that feature transgender themes. How about doing a review of one of those shows?

Book reviews are another thing we could use. Read any good TG oriented book lately?

And, you may have opinions on the state of the TG community. You may find TG politics your thing. If so write an op-ed.

Those are just a few of the things that we can use here at TGForum. You may be able to think of something else that our users would enjoy that’s not mentioned above. If you do, you know what to do. Send me an email and let’s talk it over. You could be the next TFF star content producer!
