While there is a good chance that the team with less talented players will lose to a team with more talented players, there is a 1005 certainty that a team which forfeits will lose to its opponent. Hung Cao, the Republican candidate for U.S. Senate in Virginia, blamed drag queens for the U.S. military missing its recruitment targets. There is no evidence to back this claim, and indeed, the far mor obvious problem here is that there is little unemloyment in the private sector. While there are some people who want to seerve in the military, they are not enough to reach recruitment goals on thier own. The military needs people who are desperate for a job. A satirical web site made up a quote attributed to former U.K. Prime Minister Liz Truss, which said that she blamed an “underground trans mafia” for the failure of her amdministration. She never said this, and indeeed, she takes the blame herself. However, some people are repeating the made-up quote as thous it were accurate. A mailer from the Texas Republican Party on behalf of Senator Ted Cruz’s reelection campaign runs a picture of Max Beggs, a transman, wrestling against female athletes, and claims that this is what Senate candidate Colin Allred supports. In reality, the reason that Max Beggs wrestled against females is that the Texas University Interscholastic League requires that athletes compete against others of the same “biological gender.” Indeed, Max wanted to compete against boys, but was not allowed to. A sheriff’s office recently tweeted the arrest of a student who they clai wanted to shoot up her school. However, they accidently used a male pronoun in the news item. Although they issued a correction, specifically pointing ut that the male pronoun was a typo, Libs Of TikTok were quick to retweet the original item, with a comment about how trans students are prone to violence. For pouncing on a typo and not noticing the correction, and for presuming that what their bias sees is accurate, Libs Of TikTok get a TWIT. LGBTQ Nation hss this story.

Donald Trump appears to be unable to stop himself from lying about transgedner people. In his latest rant, he talked of “transgender insanity,” and said that a day of police violence would make things better. For encouraging violence as an answer to a problem which does not really pose a problem to anyone except extra-sensitve types, Donald Trump gets a TWIT. This story comes from Them.

J.D. Vance seems to be picking up a cue from from his running made. He claims that public school students “can’t add 5+5, but they can tell hyou that there are 87 different genders.” THe quote is correctly attributed, but it is factually inaccurate.
