In a commencement speech which caught the attention of many news outlets, Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker attacked “dangerous gender ideologies” as the sort of “deadly sin of Pride that has an entire month dedicated to it.” He contrasted that pride in self with a pride in God, without realizing that in so doing, he is taking an unhealthy pride in himself for his pride in his religious beliefs. For pushing traditional gender roles as a one-size-fits-all solution, Harrison Butker gets a Twit Award. This story comes from Them.

Dr. Hillary Cass, the author of the Cass Review, claims in an interview that her critics are “misleading the public.” But, she seems to have arbitrarily chosen studies which she approves of, studies which have the same design flaw as the studies which she rejects, but which come to the conclusion she wants to support. Further, she suggests that U.S. organizations support gender-affirming medical care for minors in order to support bullying by trans people, despite the fact that U.S. medical organizations cite studies which show the results are better–studies which Dr. Cass rejects. For projection, and for defending questionable research as if it were unflawed, Dr. Hilary Cass gets a Twit Award. LGBTQ Nation has this story.
