As we mentioned in the news, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton has filed a law suit the purpose of which is to force the NCAA to ban transgender athletes from women’s sports. For ignoring science and replacing it with his oversimplified world view, and for trying to use the courts to impose the heavy hand of the government in this matter, Ken Paxton gets a TWIT. NBC News has this story.

As we mentioned in the news, 120 anti-transgender bills have been pre-filed before the start of the 2025 legislative sessions in the states. For attempting to use the heavy hand of the government to deny civil rights to a group of people, the legislators who pre-filed these bills get a TWIT. Erin Reed’s story can be read at The Advocate.

As we also mentioned in the news, Donald Trump told his followers that he would end “transgender lunacy” :with a stroke of my pen on day one.” He also said, “It will be the policy of my administration that there are only two genders, male and female.” (You can find this story at PrideSource.) He also told the audience at the Turning Points USA event that he was going to put an end to women’s boxing, because of Imane Khelif, whom he referred to with male pronouns. He invented a story of Khelif boxing as a male before transitioning, despite the fact that Khelif had passed the gender test before several bouts prior to the test with the failed result. For making stuff up, and for using transgender people as a convenient target to distract from an inability to deliver on other topics, President-elect Donald Trump gets a TWIT. LGBTQ Nation has the story about ending women’s boxing.
