A federal judge has dismissed the case brought by six members of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority, who alleged that the group admitted “a man” as a member. In fact, the group admitted a transgender woman as a member. Although the judge dismissed the case, it is likely to be appealed. CNN has this story.
A federal judge in Texas has issued a stay on the implementation of that state’s new ban on drag shows. There will still be a trial before a permanent decision is rendered. Even then, there will likely be an appeal. This story comes from Them.
Although state Judge Maria Cantu Hexsel issued an injunction to prevent the state’s ban on gender-affirming care for minors, the state’s Supreme Court overturned the injunction. The ban took effect on Friday. The Texas Tribune has this story.

A judge in Kansas has overturned several portions of a consent judgment in which the state agreed to change the genders listed on birth certificates in return for the court dismissing the case brought by transgender people.
