Chanelle

Hello everyone! My name is Chanelle Nirok. I’m originally from Sverdlovsk, the third biggest city in the Russia. I came to the United States in 2006, when I was 13 and my mind and eyes opened to so many different lifestyles and types of people than I was used to knowing, including crossdressers and people of LGBTQ orientations. Around age 14, I began to play with my mom’s closet in secret. She did not have any dresses at all so I had to use what could – workout clothes, lingerie, blouses, skirts, capris, and thing of casual nature. I wanted glamour, though. As I browsed the Internet in my teenage years and looked at the CD world legends like Aubrey Frost and Leah True, I grew more and more fond of crossdressing. Eventually at age 16 I decided to save a $1000, the average gamer boy’s (of my age) starter kit budget, to begin this fabulous hobby.

At age 19, after a hellish freshman year of college, I saved that $1000 and went on a massive online shopping spree. I bought skirts, tops, dresses, shoes, makeup, accessories, and a very popular-style medium-length brown wig, called the “New York Girl,” from FreeTress Equal, which I still use to this day. However, before beginning to crossdress, I came out as a crossdresser to my mother, Elena, and my best friend, Dominic, and both were totally cool with it at the end. My mother went though much internal pain and struggle when I told her I wanted to be a part-time T-girl, but in a year’s time, she finally gained understanding and now laughs about cute mistakes I make when I dress up. Neither my father nor stepfather know about Chanelle as I want them to keep an alpha-male image of me and not mix it with a feminine one.

chanelle02I am currently 21-years-old, a college student at the University of Florida, studying and working in construction management, and working on building my own e-commerce organization. So far, I have been dressing as Chanelle for 2 years, over which I acquired 19 pairs of shoes, 9 wigs, 80+ dresses (I stopped counting after 60), many more bras, panties, hosiery, makeup sets, earrings, bracelets, and anything else a girl needs to be a beautiful, ladylike woman. I also dated my first girlfriend, Lisette – my first love – who dumped me because of crossdressing. I came out to Lisette three months into the relationship, not long before St. Valentine’s Day of 2013 and she went through emotional pain to be with me as Chanelle — just as much, if not more than my mother went through….

When Lisette left me, she told me that she lied about loving me in three months that preceded the breakup because she did not want to be a with a feminine-acting man, who in her eyes is a woman. The breakup was much too painful for me, but I got over it in two days and started rebuilding – looking for a new love who will be with me through the light and the darkness, regardless of whether I pose as Costa (my boy name) or as Chanelle (my female persona). I have no guilt about not advertising myself as crossdresser to every person I meet, but I have confidence about coming out to other people with all my honesty since I have safely come out to two of my good friends in addition to my mother, Lisette, and Dominic. Additionally, I have gained a massive following and support on Facebook, Google+ and YouTube while I have ventured on the Internet as my female persona for a little less than a year. I keep up with some of my fans and most of my friends as much as I humanly can.

Since I was approached by Angela, the managing editor of TGForum, I agreed to (I am more than happy to) write a few short articles on TGForum about my own life experiences as a crossdresser, going out with my CD/TG friends, and also about my search for the right woman, whom I can share my love and passion for femininity, on online dating sites. This is my story up to now and more will follow with time. Cheers!
