Out & About: Valentine’s in Tampa, Fla.

On Saturday, November 3, the Central Florida CD/TG Social- Meetup group in Tampa, Fla.gathered at a local night club, Valentine’s. I got there a little after nine and some girls were already there. After getting a drink from the very friendly bartender, Chris, I made my way to connect with the girls.
My first impression of the venue was awesome, not too big and not too small, with a warm, friendly vibe. The girls and I made our way back to the bar for awhile were we met the other bartender, Kelly, who took some great pix for us. Around 11ish it began to fill up but never to the point of shoulder to shoulder, crushing busy. The crowd had a great mix of friendly patrons.

The owner, Tom, came over and spoke with me about doing a regular meetup there which floored me because in the dozens of times I have been out no bar owner or manager ever went out of their way to invite us back or make us feel comfortable like Tom did. I’ve been in the restaurant business for over 20 years, Tom clearly knew what he was doing.
Even the showgirls were friendly. The beautiful Colorina, mentioned, welcomed and thanked for us coming during the show. We had over fifteen girls in attendence and they all had a good time. I would definitely do another event there in the future or even go back by myself. The vibe was good, the people were awesome and the atmosphere was a delightfull variation of neighborhood bar chic.
