Good Monday!
Or, in modern English — instead of Old English — good Monday! Bet you didn’t know that Monday is the moon’s day? Well, if you did keep quiet about it. I’m trying to impress the readers with my arcane knowledge. Happy Monday pagans!
In any event, it’s Monday here in 2010 and that means it’s time for another TGF Monday Edition. We begin with The Week In Transgenderism by News Editor Ronnie Rho. Ronnie has scoured the Web and ferreted out all the stories with even a hint of transgender content. She has links to stories about a bar in Fort Lauderdale that doesn’t want any trans clientele (haven’t they read about the place in New England?) to the story about Spanish TG hookers, to allegations that She-Ra was TG, drag is being stolen from queens by female performers, and a whole lot more. It’s all there for you in TWIT.
Dina Amberle joins us this Monday with her Dina’s Diner column. Dina reads a bunch of newspapers, scans the Web and then churns out her take on the stuff she’s read after adding her own spices and baking in a 325 degree oven for 45 minutes. This week she comments on stilettos (surprise!) Raquel Welch, and a British spy who wasn’t a crossdresser. And there’s a couple of prostitutes in her column, too. Don’t miss Dina’s Diner!
There is a conference in New York next month for GLBT elders and we give you the info on that. Renowned SRS surgeon Dr. Sherman Leis spoke to a TG gathering and talked about TG health insurance issues and we bring you a report.
That’s our TGF Monday Edition for Monday, October 4, 2010. Enjoy!
