First, I have simply been wearing my female wardrobe without any of the accessories lately. (since late July/early August. Second, most of my bras have been hand-me-downs from my spouse. Yes, she knew about my crossdressing before we got married. I just got my latest order from Catherines. Since I’ve been wearing my dresses without the “accessories,” I tried them on over my “natural curves” first.The first dress was between ugh and meh. The second dress was Ugh, but I could see the possibilities with my breast forms. So I put on one of my good bras, and the the first dress. Still meh. I put on the second dress, and looked in the mirror. I couldn’t take my eyes off my body. (OMG). The dresses were cheap enough, and Catherines wanted $10.95 for my to return the one dress for a refund, I am just keeping both dresses.

I had one the other night. My wonderful spouse and I went out for dinner. She was wearing a tee shirt, cardigan and leggings. I had a sweater dress and knee high boots. No makeup, my natural hair, and no shape enhancing or bust enhancements. I have no illusions, I have mostly masculine features.

When the time came for the check, we were asked if it was separate checks. My spouse replied that we had been married to each other for almost 30 years. The server was shocked. It didn’t register that I was male until we told him. I wasn’t even trying. I still just prefer wearing dresses and skirts instead of pants.

Several years ago Catherine’s was a brick & mortar store. You could stop in to shop and try on a potential purchase. They were sold off by the investment company and now no free shipping.

If there is a Lane Bryant or Torrid store near you you might find a dress you like.

I shop at all 3. Kane Bryant aer within a half mile of each other. (Torrid is in a large mall. LB is in an adjacent strip mall.) The brick and mortar Torrid stops one size smaller than me.

Since Catherine’s was sold Lane Bryant has added some larger sizes to compensate for Catherines. If you see a LB dress you like ask an associate in the store to order a larger size for you. You can have it shipped to you or the store. If at the store and it doesn’t fit right you can return it right there unless it’s final sale.

i put out a post on this forum in September of 2020 about living with two genders. Well, I just want to add how I fell when I am fully dressed as a woman. I saw a phase online from another crossdresser which is: ‘When I am dressed as a woman, I am her and she is me’.
Well, I couldn’t agree more with those words of wisdom. I am presently fully dressed as Irene and I know that part of me has always been her and it is always such a relief when I can be her.
