This story is not like other stories that I’ve read saying that the author has always know they were a girl — I think I discovered being one.
Savannah disappears for Kenny’s senior year of high school. Her friends and the fella she was dating wonder where she went and why they don’t hear from her. Kenny keeps his nose to the grindstone and studies hard. All the while missing his life as Savannah. Will things get better in college? Who will be attending? Kenny or Savannah?
Summer ends and Savannah must “go home to Atlanta”. Kenny has to return from wherever he was and go to high school. Fred is away at a private school and Savannah’s sister is away at college. It’s not an exciting time for Savannah.
In the last chapter of Savannah’s story we saw her gorgeously attired in a fabulous gown with flawless hair and makeup attending a gala event at the country club. She was escorted by the southern gentleman, Fred who treated her like a southern belle. Today we visit with Savannah the day after the big glamour event. Fred is picking her up to take her to lunch at the club and his parents are coming, too. Then the plan is for Savannah to “return to Atlanta” for the school year.
For several weeks Savannah has been thinking about two things; the formal ball that Fred has invited her to, and the approaching beginning of the new school year. She is excited by shopping for a gown, practicing walking in extra high heels, and learning how to come down stairs in a long skirt without falling down, but she is concerned that when school starts her feminine adventures will be over and she will have to return to a life as a boy named Kenny. The ball is most immediate since Fred has just entered her house and her mother has gone to greet him. How will this evening go?
The last chapter told us about the process of finding a gown for Savannah to wear to the big formal ball. She is to escorted by a boy she has been hanging out with casually and her dress, hair and makeup have to be perfect for the big night. She has been practicing walking in high heels, maneuvering with poise while managing a floor length skirt, and anticipating the big day. In this chapter she goes to a salon with many of the other girls who will be attending the ball and the big day arrives.

For eight chapters Mary Jo has pushed her husband Tom into feminizing and engaging in lady type activities. it all started when Tom found a number of cedar chests full of women’s clothing from the 1800s in a house on his parent’s property that he was renovating. No one remembers much about who used to live there and the place was empty for years, hiding the trove of dresses, corsets and shoes. Mary Jo was inspired to dress Tom in one of the gowns and soon he was growing his hair, having facials and getting his nails done. Today the tale of his transformation into Claire comes to a close. Or does it?
Several months have passed since Mary Jo talked her husband Tom into attending the the Kentucky Lady’s Association Gala as Claire. It turned out that Tom didn’t need to worry that anyone would realize he was Claire. In fact Claire was the belle of the ball. Of course being five foot five in his stocking feet meant Claire was sized about the same as all the other ladies, and with her tightly laced corset she looked fabulous in both her modern cocktail dress and her vintage gown. Mary Jo had told the woman who put the ball together about Claire’s collection of vintage dresses and corsets. When another major gala is planned Mary Jo is asked if Claire could attend and model those vintage dresses. Tom has taken on more responsibility in his father’s business and is reluctant to be a model at such a public event. Of course, Mary Jo talks him into it.
One day Mary Jo suggested she and Claire should attend the gala of the Kentucky lady’s association. Which would require a couple of different outfits. The cedar chests supplied one beautiful vintage gown but shopping for a cocktail dress and four inch heels would have to happen. After seeing that Claire would need to enhance her waistline to look really good in the vintage gown MJ insists that Claire begin corset training to achieve an hourglass figure. The cedar chests had an adequate stock of vintage whale bone garments. We join the couple as MJ is at work lacing Claire into her corset.
“Claire” and her wife Mary Jo spent a couple of days in the city. After some fun adventures and quality sexual activity the girls returned home. Claire heard the door open downstairs and thinking it was MJ came down to find her mother. Miracle of miracles, mom didn’t recognize her son and Claire was introduced as a college pal of Mary Jo’s. After Claire got over her scare they settled back into their regular routine for a few weeks. One day Mary Jane suggested they should attend the gala of the Kentucky lady’s association. “Claire” and her wife Mary Jo spent a couple of days in the city having a girlfriend weekend. Claire passed beautifully and the two girls got up to some sexy activities in places like a movie theater and the dressing room at the big department store. They even had some men buy them drinks at the hotel bar but discouraged their advances by uttering the “L” word.
