Music Video: Everybody’s Gotta Learn Sometime

Hamish Downie is a queer Australian filmmaker based in Japan. He currently has a film titled American Piano that was shown at Cannes 2016 and is set to run in other film festivals. He has also produced a trans-positive short film/music video for a song by singer Robyn Loau. It is from her Only Human album. The song is titled Everybody’s Gotta Learn Sometime. The video stars real-life couple Rumi Tominaga and “S.” The video’s story is based on how S came out to Rumi. You can read more about their relationship on Rumi’s blog.
