59 years and it\\\'s finally happened!!! and I\\\'m so excited!!!! My profile here is a rundown of how I got to where I am today. Where am I you ask??? Read on.....and you\\\'ll find out. It\\\'s been 59 long grueling years and the day is finally here.

The first half of this profile is the road I\\\'ve traveled to get where I am today as a Transgender woman. The second part is all about the WOMAN I\\\'m looking for who will hopefully end u as my life partner. Ya gotta read this WHOLE thing to find out who I am and the relationship I desire...it\\\'s long but tells a lot about me.

***A short note...I\\\'m an RV\\\'er...a Retired Full Time RV\\\'er and love the freedom I have to be totally mobile. I travel with my two best girls...who just happen to have four legs, fur and bark...one much louder than the other! Their pictures are posted in my photos section.

No rent or house payments, no electric bills (my solar array and battery bank take care of that), variable scenery and removable neighbors. I can camp in the desert, in the mountains, by a lake or river. If I don\\\'t like the scenery or neighbors I simply hook my truck to the fifth wheel and change the scenery and neighbors.

-------------OK, now on to \\\"ABOUT ME\\\"---------------

After living as a man for 58 years I\\\'m finally on my way to my dream of becoming a woman. The road here has been a long one, at times winding down an unfamiliar path, at times a real uphill struggle and times, coasting easily downhill. I\\\'ve listed my gender as “Female” because right now, that\\\'s where my head and heart are.

My life as a man has been good, but unfulfilled. My very first memory of wanting to be a girl was at about 4 or 5 years old. Unfortunately, life has to go on and not necessarily in the direction you have in mind.

Out of high school, married and with a beautiful daughter, I realized my gas station attendant pay wasn\\\'t going to cut it...so, I joined the Army as a Paratrooper and spent time in elite units such as the 82nd Airborne Division and 10th Special Forces Group. In this profession, I was not only a very masculine leader, I was also very committed to my men, my unit and my country, and excelled in everything I did.

Yes, my dream to be a soft, pretty, feminine woman has been a long time in coming and I have decided that now is that time. It\\\'s time for ME to live MY life for ME, NOT my kids, NOT my family, NOT those who I think are my friends but will disown me as soon as they find out of my plans. MY life and happiness are now IN MY HANDS and no one will ever again dictate to me WHAT MY HAPPINESS ENTAILS.

As life gives us dreams and opportunities, it also gives us friends who will support us, encourage us and believe in us.

My long awaited transition to womanhood has officially begun with my first laser hair removal session on March 29th, 2012, Years ago I wondered if this day would ever come. Now that it\\\'s here, I find it hard to believe that it\\\'s not a dream any more...my transition is actually happening.

I\\\'m still in disbelief..I know, get on with it...OK, here it is. June 30th 2012 I had my first appointment with the shrink. The Psychiatrist and I had a really good talk. This was my first appointment with him and it went really well. He listened and ask questions, I was able to convey my life to him, my mental well being, my knowledge of how my transition to womanhood will affect my life and the changes that will come to my body and mind. After 45 minutes of discussion, he told me he would write a favorable report to begin \\\"Hormone Replacement Therapy\\\" or HRT. Yes, that\\\'s right...I didn\\\'t stutter, he gave authorization for me to begin my physiological and psychological changes to womanhood. This means bigger butt, bigger boobs, smaller waist, loss of hair everywhere except my face, probably around my nipples and my, well, lower area. Laser treatments have done an incredible job on my face and I\\\'m sure will do just as well on other parts as well.

August 7, 2012 - Got a call from my Doctor yesterday afternoon. He wrote a prescription for my testosterone blocker (Spironolactone)

February 2013 I started Finasteride at 5mg per day and May 2013 I started Estradiol at 1mg daily. Boobs are growing but meds need to be increased. Testosterone level is still well over 100 but doc is telling me that max dosage of Spironolactone is 200mg daily. We\\\'ll see where levels are from next labs in November 2013.

Thanks for following my progress,

Kris
