There has been minimal research into the effects of treatment on sexual health and function in tissues necessary for intercourse by sexual and gender minority populations (as opposed to male tissues for heterosex). Unique effects in these groups might include altered sexual function in anal and neovaginal intercourse and changes to patients’ sexual role
