I registered as a woman on several dating sites. The first picture of me was in jeans and a T shirt. I got just 2 responses over a weeks time. Then I posted a picture of ne in a black cocktail dress, hose and heels. I got 6 responses from men that same day. Mose of their posts started out “Hi beautiful” or some similiar compliment It was wonderfully reassuring and clearly men on those sites want women to look unmistakedly like women.
