I remain cautiously optimistic. While it is a positive step, until it’s in the DSM in the USA it doesn’t matter for some of us. The other thing is, many laws concerning name and gender change on documents was written under the old classifications, hence often requiring doctors letters etc.. So the legal system may require some catching up too.

I’ll wait to see how it plays out before I open any bubbly.
