TG Hollywood Tidbit — Be A Star!

Right now a film titled Powder Blue is in pre-production in Tinseltown. It’s, to quote the casting blurb, “a mosaic of people desperately searching for redemption, human connection, and restored faith within the underbelly of Los Angeles. On the eve of Christmas, four lives will cross paths by chance, love, past guilt and divine intervention. By sunrise, their lives will have been woven together by a miracle that will set them free to realize that within death there is hope and love is the reason we choose to breathe.”
The casting people are looking for a young TG to play the role of Lexus in the film. Again we quote the casting notice;
“Late teens to late 20s. We are looking for a great actor, young androgynous male WHO COULD PASS FOR A WOMAN. NO WOMEN and NO MANLY MEN. Would love Latino or Caucasian, open ethnically. We are searching for that person who can completely encompass the life of a transsexual prostitute, surviving on the cracked sidewalks of Santa Monica Blvd. in Hollywood. She is not glitz and glamour, she is rough and hardened. She is not a damsel in distress, but an animal of the night. she lives among the damned and the rejected. Yet beneath her tough exterior lies a broken heart and a tortured soul. With one look, we should feel the psychological and spiritual agony of her transformation from a man to woman, a hellish limbo of gender identity. She can no longer deny that she will never be with a man she loves, nor bear a child of her own flesh and blood. Her hopes and joys are gone, replaced with the itch and burn for a fix to numb her pain. But her pain does not cease; it only grows like a cancer where death is the only cure. A cure she will inflict upon herself…
She is not a drag queen, not burlesque, nor sophisticated. A woman in everyway just trapped in the wrong body.
