Your Morning Paper, Milady
If it’s Monday that means that I’ve been up late working over a hot computer to bring you another steaming heap of verbiage that we like to call TGForum. More than a place to upload your photos, it’s your one stop shop for all the TG news that’s fit to render on a computer monitor.
Starting out this week’s edition we have the always informative compendium of news featuring TGs that distilled by the hard working TGF News Editor, Ronnie Rho, that we call This Week In Transgenderism. Ronnie has pulled in stories from all over the Web. Some will make you laugh, some will make you cry — but you’ll be a better woman for letting those emotions loose.
Next up in the lineup is the TGF musical column about TGs who make music. It’s Perpetual Change by Pamela DeGroff. Pamela brings us news of the hot band fronted by a transman, The Cliks. They’re just of the True Colors tour and a new CD is in the works. She also cover TS jazz bassist Jennifer Leitham and more.
Then we turn to opinion with an op-blog by Ronnie Rho about the “t” word. Do you use it? Do you know people who do? Who should use it and who shouldn’t? Should anyone? Check out Ronnie’s blog, Words Mean Things and let us know what you think by posting a comment.
Then (ladies of a certain age will get this reference, those under 40 … nevermind) Sherman, set the Wayback Machine for the 1700s! TG History by Michelle Moore takes us back to a time when a man could be rich, a pal of royalty, a priest and a crossdressing Cassanova. It’s the story of Francois Timoléon de Choisy. He wore women’s clothing for the majority of his life and loved every minute. You’ve gotta read this column, it’s inspiring.
And that’s what we’ve got for this week’s edition. Keep in mind you can visit last week’s edition any time you like by clicking on “See all TG Forum Today posts…” scrolling down and using the “Next Page” links.
The Summer Fun Pictorial will be coming up this month so you still have time to send me you Summer Fun photo. Email it to [email protected]. Don’t forget to include your name and where you were. No scroll down and start reading!
Enjoy!
