Hello North Americans, non-Norte Americanos, and all the ships at sea.   Dateline: Ontario, Canada– There’s a push to

add gender to the human rights code.   We get more on this story from the Toronto Sun.  (And yes, the stories will all open in a new window.)  And how about this: Iowa may do it too.  That’s what KWWL is reporting.  Of course, for a rural state, they’re still pretty liberal in Iowa.

Sad news from Indiana.  The host of a public access show in ‘Frisco has died in a car accident.  That according to the Bay Area Reporter.  Nadia Cabezas was only 40.   Memorial services are pending.

Bay Area Reporter is also reporting that the UCSF transgender center is closing because of a lack of funds.  But, there are some people who won’t settle for that.

Steve Stanton is not the first person in Florida municipal government to come out of the closet as TS.  According to the St. Petersburgh Times, Jenny Edwards did it in 2003.
