3Halloween98.jpgSo, the crossdresser’s holiday is almost here.  And I’m not ready.  I don’t have a costume.  I don’t have set plans for who I’m going out with, and I don’t know where we’ll go if we do.

This isn’t like me.  I typically plan months in advance.  As Halloween is a big deal.  We can go just about anywhere and get away with it.

As you know, I like to take the opportunity to go to straight bars.  Sometimes you can make some new friends there.  Sometimes, all you get is some great stories to tell.  (Like in the photo: 1998 (I think) Omaha.  Our first venture out en masse for Halloween.)

Last year was my first Halloween in the big city: Cincinnati.  With a crowd of trannies, spouses, straights and gays we started at a lesbian bar, went to a straight joint for some music, and then walked through one of the local bar districts, to reach our final destination, a glbt establishment.

Everyone in our group was in costume, and by the end of the night, most everyone’s feet hurt, but we had a swinging time.

But somehow I feel like I need to top it this year.

Here’s my plan: get everyone in our group to wear similiar costumes; a theme if you will.  Be it we all dress like naughty nurses or french maids, I just have the idea that a small army of sexy devils would be quite a sight.  Can you say Friends of Dorothy?

Is it crazy?  Is it stupid?  Is it impossible?  After all, it’s often a challenge just to get gals out in the first place.  Could it be even more difficult to coordinate Halloween costumes?
