It has been a long week since last we published new content. So many things have gone on; how will we ever report on them all? Ah well, it’s the Internet so we can take as much room as we need.

We start out today, as always, with our distillation of the TG news that we call The Week In Transgenderism. It’s chock full of stories — like the transgender actress on the HBO series, the 14-year-old boy in Britain who wants to be a drag performer, the body builder who took time off to build a female body to body build with, Frank Marino on Millionaire Matchmaker, a few TWITs and a lot more. You’ll find it all in TWIT.

JoAnn Roberts, our publisher, has been away all week at her Beauty and the Beach event in Delaware. I said to her, “JoAnn, nobody wants to go to the beach in November.” But go they did, and a fun time was had by all the attendees. One of said attendees was our own Sophie Lynne. She filed a report on her experience at Beauty and the Beach along with pictures that prove she was indeed there. She calls it Week at the Beach.

Pamela DeGroff is with us today with her TVocalizers column. We send Pam out armed with nothing but a pile of questions and a smile and she comes back every month with interesting interviews with drag performers who sing in their own voices. This month she has successfully tracked down and interviewed the hottest rising star on the NYC drag scene, Peppermint. She asks the lovely Miss Peppermint pertinent questions and shares the answers with us in this month’s TVocalizers.

Hebe Dotson, our long running fiction writer, returned to Fantasia Fair for the 2011 edition of that event, and she — like Sophie Lynne  — has filed a report. Like Sophie’s event report Hebe’s tells about the event, provides some photos, and focuses on what she took away from the Fair this year. She’s a changed woman. She hasn’t worn male clothes since she got back from the Fair. Powerful stuff, that Fantasia Fair spirit. Read about her experience and epiphanies in Fantasia Fair 2011 Epiphany #2.

The week has seemed packed because it was. It started for me last Monday when I went to the Henri David Halloween Ball. The Henri David Ball is a magnet for crossdressers, drag queens and other gender identities. Oh, and they let straight people in wild, creative costumes is as well. About 2000 or so people attend every year on Halloween. I took my camera with me and got around 50 or so photos from the event. We present the results of my shutter bugging today in Henri David Ball 2011.

That’s our photo heavy offering for today! Enjoy!
