Cuban transsexual Wendy Iriepa and her man, gay activist Ignacio Estrada, went ahead and got married in Cuba on Fidel Castro’s  85th birthday this past weekend. The media are calling it a “gay wedding” but the fact that in Cuba Iriepa’s gender status is female since she had her state provided surgery four years ago means it’s just a regular wedding where the bride is TS and the groom is gay. No word on where the couple are registered for gifts, or where they’ll honeymoon. Since there wedding would still be illegal there we can bet they’re not planning on a trip to Florida. Take a look at the lovely bride, her groom and some of the wedding goings on in this video from Euronews.
